Jillian Field

Jill is a warm and friendly Psychologist who has worked with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and diverse age ranges from late adolescence to older adults. Jill has experience in private practice, Disability Employment Services, and University Psychology Clinics. Her experience includes providing individual and group therapy to people presenting with a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, co-morbid physical conditions, relationship difficulties, unemployment, substance misuse, self esteem challenges, trauma, psychosis and chronic pain (including fibromyalgia), Jill has a particular interest in supporting and treating adults experiencing anxiety, trauma related stress, and chronic pain. Working mainly from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, she also utilises Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness therapies to best meet the needs of her clients. She appreciates that there is “no one size fits all”approach to therapy, and an individualised flexible evidence based approach often leads to more positive and rewarding outcomes. Jill will work alongside you in order to achieve your individual goals. Jill holds general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
