Kathryn (she/her) is a general psychologist with an honours degree in Behavioural Science (Psychology), from Queensland University of Technology. She has over five years of experience working within government and charity organisations. Kathryn uses evidence-based therapies – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to treat a broad range of psychological conditions. She has experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. More broadly, Kathryn enjoys working with clients to move towards more effective coping strategies to manage stress, and life’s challenges.
Kathryn brings a down-to-earth, practical focus to sessions with a client-centred approach. Her areas of interest include fertility treatment and ethics, parenting, and relationships.
Kathryn is diversity-friendly and welcomes LGBTIQA+ clients.
